These are good grade tumble apache tears. They are a small variety of the igneous rock obsidian. They form in oval-shaped pebbles through the rapid cooling of viscous lava from volcanos. And they commonly occur in lava domes and ash flow tuffs. These have a beautiful translucent quality when held up to the light.
